Loveable Pair!
Ernie
Bert

Bert and Ernie were found as strays in northern NM. They are extremely bonded and it appears that Ernie is Bert's caretaker. They are rarely separated for even short periods of time, although as they become more comfortable in their new settings, they aren't quite as panicked when they can't see each other.
Both were matted, with Bert being the worst. It took us about an hour just to get the "socks" off of his rear feet. He stood there like a trooper, occasionally giving me a kiss. Ernie joined him on the grooming table a couple of times, and sat up like a little beggar while he watched his friend endure the very long procedure! It was plain that he was worried about his friend.
We have had them both neutered and Bert had to have a couple of other procedures as well. He is recovering well from a procedure to fix his cherry eye and had a couple of lipomas removed from between his shoulder blades. He takes his medication well and is looking great. Bert also appears to have had a head trauma or a birth defect, noticeable in the photo. Whatever his problems were, he is now safe and will be placed with his friend and companion, Ernie. We know that NM has lots of great people who would welcome this incredible pair of companions into their homes.

Samson
Samson and his sister, Delilah, are the product of accidental breeding: mom is a purebred Lab and dad is a 150 pound purebred Great Pyrenees! If you notice his feet and just his overall size, you can guess that he (they) will be quite large when grown! They are only about 6 weeks old right now!

Oreo
Oreo
Oreo and Buttercup are siblings. They are very sweet and very bonded. When we rescued them, they were badly in need of grooming. If you are looking for a couple of really nice pets, call Kathy @832-6891.
