Lucky's Story  Apr 05
Lucky

Lucky was hit by a car and taken into a local emergency clinic. He sustained a serious leg injury and lots of road rash, but this little terrier was a trooper.

Most of the skin and lots of flesh had been torn off of his little leg. We think he may have been dragged for a while after he was hit by that car.

The unfortunate diagnosis required the amputation of his right front leg. Lucky is now learning to walk on three legs. Animals do well in situations where humans have great difficulty.

At 2 years old, he deserved the chance to live a long and loving life with his family.   Lucky's bill - $1110.09!

Please help us help other little ones like Lucky. Your donations are tax deductible and the money replenishes our medical fund to help the animals. Lap Dog Rescue of NM has no paid employees. We don't even use our donated funds for dog food and incidentals. In addition to your thoughts and prayers for the little ones like Lucky, we truly appreciate your financial support.
