Bruno is an 8-pound, 2-year-old, male Chihuahua who came to rescue from a hoarding situation. He is an extremely shy and quiet dog who is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure. Bruno needs a low-key, patient home that will allow him plenty of time to settle in and build confidence on his own terms. Bruno prefers a hands-off approach initially. He does best when people give him space and allow him to approach when he feels comfortable. As he begins to trust, his sweet and loyal personality comes through. Bruno is crate trained and partially house-trained. A consistent routine and gentle encouragement will help him continue making progress. He will be best suited to a patient adopter who understands that developing trust may take time and is willing to let Bruno move at his own pace. Adoption fee is $225.00.
